Microsoft SQL Server
- Relational database used to store Microsoft Dynamics GP's data
- Robust, stable solution that scales well
- Maintain a standby server. Use log shipping to automatically copy transactions to another
server throughout the day. The standby server can be located in your office, across town
or in another country
- Point in time restore. Backup the transaction log during the day. If a drive fails, restore
data to a specific time
- Place data files and log files on separate raid arrays for improved redundancy and speed
- Create adhoc reports using SQL Server Reporting Services. Pull data directly from
the Microsoft Dynamics GP tables
